About us

The healing power of nature

Fulfilment in Nature CIC is a community-focused organisation using nature, outdoor experiences, creativity, adventure and connection to support people’s mental and emotional wellbeing.

We create opportunities for people to step outside, explore the natural world, learn new skills, meet others, challenge themselves and experience the benefits of meaningful connection with nature. Our work takes place at outdoor and community locations across Norfolk and surrounding areas, with the potential to travel further afield — we’re a community organisation rather than a single centre.

Our work is about much more than outdoor activities. We use nature as a space for connection, discovery, growth and wellbeing.

Our mission is to nurture the mental and emotional wellbeing of our local community and beyond by fostering a profound connection with nature.

We recognise that although mental health services, GP support and therapeutic services are essential, increasing demand and referral times can make timely support hard to reach. We create accessible, preventative and complementary opportunities for people to experience nature, activity, creativity, connection and community.

We are not intended to replace clinical mental health services. Instead, we offer additional pathways into nature, community, positive experiences and wellbeing.

Our mission statement

We envision a world where every individual, regardless of age or ability, finds solace, healing and profound joy in the embrace of the natural world.

Our purpose is to facilitate access to greener spaces, rekindling the age-old bond between humanity and the natural world. Through holistic programmes, therapeutic nature experiences and unwavering support, we aim to inspire and empower our community to rediscover the serenity and wisdom of nature — planting seeds of resilience, nurturing hope and cultivating fulfilment in every heart.
