Our impact

Real experiences. Real connections.

We believe the people who experience our work are the best people to tell our story. From discovering hidden wildlife at night to finding a moment of peace, meeting new people or simply feeling comfortable enough to be yourself, our activities create opportunities for connection, curiosity, confidence and joy.

As a Community Interest Company, these experiences are central to how we understand our social impact.

Our stories

Discovering the hidden world of nature — Fulfilment in Nature participants

Discovering the hidden world of nature

During our night-time and biofluorescent experiences, participants explore beaches and natural environments with specialist equipment, finding colours, patterns and organisms that would normally stay hidden.

  • Exploring the beach at night and using the UV light to find all the creatures.
  • Using the special equipment to notice all the patterns in nature.
  • Thank you so much for teaching us new things, giving us clear guidance, being so enthusiastic and showing us the beauty of nature at night.

Sometimes we don't need to travel somewhere new to discover something extraordinary. We simply need to learn how to look differently.

Connection with nature — Fulfilment in Nature participants

Connection with nature

Our activities encourage people to slow down and experience their surroundings in different ways — for some that's mindfulness, for others it's seeing a familiar place with fresh eyes, or simply having space to breathe.

  • Being surrounded by nature, experiencing a different type of meditation in a 'safe' environment.
  • Despite walking that area for many years, discovered new little places I didn't realise were there.
  • Peace, empowerment, inclusivity, support.

Nature can change when we change the way we experience it.

Finding community — Fulfilment in Nature participants

Finding community

A walk can become a conversation. A meditation can become a moment of connection. A shared adventure can introduce people who may never otherwise have met.

  • The walk and meeting other people.
  • The soundtrack of music through headphones and the guided movements helped to bring the group together. Being on the beach was good for connecting to nature's elements.

Come as you are. Connect with others. Experience something together.

A space to just be yourself — Fulfilment in Nature participants

A space to just be yourself

There shouldn't be pressure to perform, compete or be a particular way. We aim to create environments where people feel comfortable participating and expressing themselves in their own way.

  • Amy and Andrew were really friendly and helped everyone to feel relaxed and able to participate uninhibited.
  • Exceeded my expectations. Brilliant experience. Many thanks for the space and opportunity to meet and share. Just what I needed.

Sometimes people don't need another place to go. They need a space where they can simply be.

When people feel looked after — Fulfilment in Nature participants

When people feel looked after

Delivering a good experience isn't only about the activity. It's about making sure people feel welcome, informed, supported and safe throughout.

  • Andrew was a great host, really welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Very personable and ensured every member of the group was OK at regular intervals during the walk. Would definitely recommend future events.
  • Andrew and Amy were lovely, welcoming, friendly, informative and encouraged people to just be themselves and enjoy the session.

We want people to feel welcomed before the activity even begins.

Hearing from families — Fulfilment in Nature participants

Hearing from families

Through programmes such as Nature Explorers we give young people opportunities to explore, create, learn and challenge themselves — and we keep parents and carers included along the way.

  • It's incredible the effort you guys have put into this whole club, the daily vlogs and these lovely personalised observations! No other holiday club has ever put this amount of care into their work with the kids and kept parents in the loop.
  • We are most impressed by the quality of service you've provided. You've smashed it!

Young people shouldn't simply be seen as participants filling a space. They should be seen, listened to and recognised as individuals.

The Fulfilment in Nature difference

We don’t simply take people outside. We create opportunities for people to discover, connect, learn, grow and belong — whether that’s a walk, a campfire, a moment of mindfulness, fluorescent seaweed on a beach at night, a new bushcraft skill or simply meeting someone new.

Connect. Thrive. Transform.
